We are very glad that you have decided to visit us, and are happy to share our experience with you:) My husband Carl and I have been "in" dogs (breeding and showing) for 23 years, and we have been devoted exclusively, to the Australian Cattle Dog since 1981. We are both members of The Australian Cattle Dog Club of America, and have signed the ACDCA Breeders COE, I have served on the Obedience, Grievance, and International Committees, of the ACDCA . I am currently Chair of the International Committee. Carl is my honorary assistant, helping whenever, and wherever he can. Our children Wrenn and Nick, are involved in every aspect of dog life, from dressing up puppies in doll clothes, to leash training and kennel work. Our cats, Axl and Slash, do their best to teach our Cattle Dog babies a healthy respect for felines....at a tender age:)

Our puppies are born and raised in our dining room, and exposed to as many new and strange experiences as possible, from loud rock music, to curious three year olds, and rambunctious teen-agers. Weather permitting, they are started on ducks at six weeks. We usually only have one litter a year, sometimes, two, some years, none. Each litter is carefully planned not only for outstanding conformation, but with genetically tested parents to insure lifelong health. All of our breeding dogs are OFA CERF (and have been for years). Genetic testing is done BEFORE any of our dogs are used for breeding. When breeding to an outside stud, we breed only to a dog which is also OFA CERF, with the Certificates to prove that he has also been tested, and we provide the new puppy owner with copies of the puppies parents OFA and CERF Certificates, proving that they are free of Hip Dysplasia, and PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy).

Dreamtime Say Hello To Heaven aka "Andy" who owns Gail Burt South Gate California. "Andy" is the son of Ch Dreamtime Desperado HIC OFA G-Cerf Normal.

This is a small kennel, and all of our dogs have house time, two or three of them, sleep on the bed:) here, we believe breeding is a vocation, not a business. Our puppies come to you with a written guarantee against Hip Dysplasia, and PRA. Puppies are sold on either a limited registration (pet quality) or full registration (show-breeding quality). We believe that The Australian Cattle dog is the most intelligent, loyal, "mate" that you can ever have, but they are NOT for everyone.......you must search your reasons for wanting to live with one, and then you will know if they are for you, and so will we:)

PLEASE ask questions, we want both your family and the puppy who would become part of it, to be happy, with no surprises:) If they are the right breed for you...then you will not be able to imagine life without one....If they are not right for you, life could become a very trying experience for you both....Our puppies are our babies, and should you decide you and your family are truly "Cattle Dog People" we will be with you to help with them, for the rest of their lives, we are responsible for their being. Dreamtime puppies are successful in the show ring, the Obedience ring and they are successful in the working area when they need to be, but what WE are the most proud of them for, is that they become much loved MEMBERS of their human families.
