These are our Mute swans. The first picture shows them as yearlings before their first moult.
By Fall, they have grown into beautiful white young adults.

We have a diverse group of ducks. Ducks are gentle and kind and generally get
along well with each other.
They even allow wild ducks to come into their pen and eat and rest.

Ducks are very good layers and provide us with fresh low cholesterol eggs every day.
This is Stella She is standard size donkey or "burro" adopted from the BLM
gathered from Blue Wing, Nevada.

This is a picture of her during her first week at our ranch, learning to trust us working in the round pen.

Her first Spring in Illinois. You can see her freeze brand. All adopted animals from
the government are branded.

Here she is basking in the twilight sun; from her own stall in the barn.
Quite a change from living on the high desert for seven years.

Stella and Butch out in the paddock. The horses accepted her very easily and seem to find those
long ears very pleasing. Note the size difference. Butch, the appaloosa. is about 15.2 hands,
1100 pounds while Stella is half his size.
