Welcome to the home of Taylryder ACDs! Our goal is to produce pretty performance dogs that can go from winning in the show ring to working/winning in the herding pen, agility ring, obedience ring or excel at sofa sports. All of our puppies are whelped and raised in our home, with an emphasis on developing the individual that can easily become your next family member, no matter what your family activity is. The puppies are exposed to cattle from the time they are allowed outside. From the first time they get a look at the cows on the other side of the yard fence, it is easy to tell from their glowing bentleys that our breeding program works.

We have been owned by cattledogs from 1985 and since then have bred some outstanding individuals. Our dogs live in our home and are family. We are Code of Ethics breeders with the ACDCA. To carry on our involvement with our chosen breed, we participate in National Club (ACDCA) and Regional Club (Mid-Florida ACD Fanciers) activities on a regular basis even to the point of Deb holding the Treasurer position in both Clubs. Brian is a 21 year Firefighter and keeps involved with the herding and cattle development of our dogs.

Some of our more recent brags include:

  • 2003 Westminster Award of Merit winner Ch BD Taylryder Tufferenhell
  • 2002 ACDCA BISS winner Ch BD Legacys Taylryder Gold Buckle
  • 2002 Breeder of the Best In Specialty Show Award
  • 2003 Top Ten ACD (all systems) Ch Sandhills PBJ Sam I Am
  • 2002 & 2001 Top Ten ACD (all systems) Ch BD Taylryder Tufferenhell
  • QVW earned by Ch BD One Awesome Tayl Ryder CD, NA, NAJ
  • 9 Champions produced by our Grande Dame Ch Chinsegut Taylor Made
  • 3 Champions produced by Taylor's daughter Ch BD Taylryders Red Bandana

Woohooo! We are very proud!!!

At Taylryder ACDs we believe in health testing all dogs prior to breeding. Our dogs have their hips OFA'd (x-rayed) and their PRCD status determined by the time a breeding has been planned. Before the puppies move on to their new homes, a Baer hearing test is performed to determine hearing status. This makes it easier for their new parents to say/scream "I KNOW you can hear me………" when the need arises!

We do our breedings on a limited basis, with just 1 or 2 litters a year. It is our pleasure to match the right puppy with the right owner for the right activity. Please contact us for information on our upcoming litters.
