Piper was rescued by the RSPCA, she had been tied up for all of her 18 months and had 10 puppies with no one being fed. Having lost our two ACDs to bone cancer and old age respectively the previous year, Pipers new Mum and Dad were looking for a new best friend and fell for the cute face on the RSPCA website. Adoption happened and now much loved Piper has the run of 6.5 acres on the Sunshine Coast (Australia) and loves to travel in the car. Her favorite thing to do? "Dog Ball"! At which she is a champion.

This is our pup, Tessa, aka "Pupper-nutter." We lost both of our red-speckled ACDs in 2010 (17.5 years old and 15.5 years old) and could not imagine life without a cattledog! Tessa is 9 months-old here and is the sweetest, blue girl ever and just loves to herd the kids!

Ruby was purchased as a gift for my Father's Birthday. She was five weeks old with fleas and Worms. Unbeknown to us, we found out almost instantly that Ruby was deaf. Spending only days with her, we knew that it was unfortunate this breeder was knowingly breeding a deaf male, but we decided to keep her. WE DO NOT REGRET IT!

Hopey (who appears on this site in "blue females" as well, first posted in 1999) left this life on October 16th, 2010; after 16 amazing years of love and loyalty. She was always ready to go and never, ever afraid. She is missed every day.
