As a Cattle Dog and Australian Border Collie mix, I was born for speed and agility. My owners says of my running, “Annie’s a Ferrari in a world full of Chevys!” I was rescued from a bad situation and came to Alaska 4 years ago. I have been seen herding salmon, bear, and even an attempt on a porcupine (ouch). The snow is fun, and I love to roll and dig in it along with lots of swimming in the summer. My family has taken me on day-long hikes, steep mountain runs, and even on multi-day boat trips. Balls and frisbees are OK, but I prefer herding salmon. Submitted by Jeff Ottesen, Juneau, Alaska.
