Auggie and Penny (left) are two ACD mixes living in Seattle. This is summer 2001 - Penny just turned 1 and Auggie is 3. Penny came from Northern California Cattledog Rescue (thanks Ann!) and yes, she knows everyone thinks she is a Border Collie and she acts like it, too. Auggie (another rescue) is Cattledog through and through, right down to the tennis ball obsession. Penny is simply obsessed with Auggie. They are very devoted to each other and have a true older-younger sibling relationship - no one is allowed to beat up Auggie's younger sister except Auggie. We spend a lot of time at the off leash park and going on long walks on the beach. Having two is the best - they wrestle, herd, play chase, and help wear each other out so I can get stuff done!
