Hello, I'm Aussie Brutus. I am a beautiful rottie-heeler mix, or so I'm told. My parents were so delighted to read about ACDs and discover where all of my wonderful traits came from. I am a 44lb leaping muscle. I love my mommy and my daddy and everyone knows it. Little children love to pet me, but I growl because I don't like strangers. I do however like the attention. I love every single one of my toys and I take care when I toss them in the air or whack my mommy with them not to tear them. My favorite ones are the loud ones that annoy everyone. I love cheese, any type, and I always come running when mommy opens the cheese drawer. I am so smart, I can jump really high and do every trick that my mommy teaches me. I love to chase rabbits, and tree-rabbits with long puffy tails. I love to swim and mommy got me a life jacket because when I get in the lake I love to herd ducks and I do it so long that I collapse when I come to shore. My mommy doesn't worry now that I have my bright yellow life jacket. I also hike on mountain trails. I have been camping and canoeing, I tipped the canoe over when I tried to bite a wave. I am super-sensitive to any emotion that humans have. When I do something "bad" like burp up milk on the carpet, I go to the corner and stick my big nose in it. Mommy didn't teach me that, I punish myself. I love to stick my big head out the window, of mommy and daddy’s car. I think that the other dogs are jealous because mommy and daddy take me everywhere, I have quite often been referred to as their "baby." As far as I'm concerned, everyone is jealous. I love my walks, and I always close my mouth and lift my giant ears when I hear the words "let's go" "walk" or anything that sounds close, "what's that?" and "where is....." Everyone is amazed at how quickly I learn, and at how much I know. I have made a dog-lover out of everyone who visits, even my Pappy Dorazio. My pappy is the bestest pappy ever, he always fattens me up with whatever he is having for dinner. They don't know what I've been through, but they know that I sure love them. My daddy now loves ACDs, and argues with everyone that they are the BEST dogs around. Thank you for your website, my mommy loves seeing the similarities that I have with my ACD relatives.
