My family got our first Blue Heeler/Boxer mix 1 year ago...his name is Banky! We had never heard of the breed, but our neighbors always came up to us and asked if he was a Blue Heeler. We were stunned at all the people who had heard of his breed. We got him from a farm in Tennessee. When we got him he already had his tail docked (which I hate) and his ears were floppy. We took him to his vet for his check up and the vet told us about Blue Heelers. Eventually his ears stood straight up and he couldn't be more beautiful. Many people say he is "interesting" looking. I say he's a dog only a mother could love, and I do! Amy, John....and of course Banky
