This is our blue heeler, Bexleigh Mae (pronounced becks-lee). You are looking at one of those very rare moments when she is just sitting down. Above and beyond chewing on pig ears and tiring us out playing fetch, Bexleigh enjoys herding our two cats, who don’t seem to get as much enjoyment out of it as she does. We rescued Bex from the animal shelter when she was about 6 weeks old, with the flop ears and a lot of black in her coat (both undesirable); the breeder didn’t think he could sell her.
