 After nearly sixteen years with us Gemma, our beautiful brown dog, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Her time came a week before Christmas when her body just could not carry her on any further. She grew up with the kids, got old before us and we miss her dearly. She lived at least three lifetimes – never stopped until the end. We began to think she was a cat with nine lives as she survived the challenges of her ageing body. We know she’s somewhere, up on the bed, waiting for us to arrive and ready to go again.
