Hanford (commonly called "Handful" by my friends) just turned one year old. He's been all over the western U.S. and even up to Canada, making him more well-traveled than a lot of people I know. He's the smartest dog I've ever had, and it's no trick to teach him new commands and phrases. He's a delight to come home to and is a close and loving friend. P.S. Most folks think he's named after the town (or the nuclear power plant in Washington state), but he's really named after a football player.
