This is HOLLY, a 7 year old red ACD who has been my faithful companion for the last 6 years. She was born and abandoned on a ranch in southern Wyoming, where I rescued her. She is a loyal friend that can be counted on to happily share in all my adventures, whether it be hiking in the mountains, skiing cross country, “helping” me with field work, or keeping the base of the route secure during rock climbing outings (shown here). Her hobbies include fetching (tennis balls, Frisbees, and tiny sticks preferred), chasing squirrels and sparrows, and un-stuffing plush toys. She also enjoys good belly rubs and back scratches and giving hugs to friends. She has bolstered my spirit in more ways than I can mention.
