Here's a pic of our 7 month old Australian Cattle Dog, Jake. He was rescued from the city pound in Fresno, CA by an Animal Rescue Group. He was on the list to be euthanized the following day, and the wonderful people at the rescue saved him. He was extremely mal-nourished, had kennel cough and was dealing with a severe bout of an irritable bowel which was causing alot of bleeding. He came to us in need of lots of TLC and he's got it now! It took 2 weeks to get him to come out of his shell, with alot more progress still to be made. He's a sweetheart and we are so lucky to have him as apart of our lives! He will be making many travels with us, as we are a military family and we will never leave him behind. He's the typical ACD, as he LOVES to Nip while playing and tries to herd our 2 year old son.
