This is Jakey, he is 7. He used to live on Grandma's farm in Devon England where he worked the sheep, but she reckoned he only had two speeds, fast and stop! Grandma saved him from being put down when he was only 8 months old (his previous owners just didn't know about these dogs, they thought he was destructive and dangerous). This photo shows Jakey on the island of Kerrera (off Oban in Scotland) where he has now chosen to live with me (Kyle aged 4),my brother Torran (aged 2) and mom and dad, his best friend Tasha (collie x) ond our Highland Ponies. Being a smart dog it was Jakey's choice to stay here and play with us. Maybe he also knew some of his ancestors would have come from around these parts too.
