KALA

I am named Kala which is Aborigine for fire. In this picture I am nine months old. Life is full of sunshine and fun for me. I have no job as my aunty Breeze and Uncle Buford do all the horse and watchdog chores. I'm supposed to be very outgoing, friendly and an imp. Well, that is my place in the pack - the bottom. Someday I'm gong to take on the lot, for now I am enjoying all the things that life brings like running after rabbits, heeling denim jeans, chasing a ball, paddling in the lake and eating. Unlike all my relatives I am not much of a swimmer but I do make people laugh. I like my owner and follow her around all day. I know that she loves me for she tolerates most of my behavior with just a sigh, except if I roll in something called "disgusting". I am over a year old now and have discovered that, although, Breeze is still my large Alpha Aunt, Buford is not an uncle and he looks at me in an odd way.....not a chance I am faster and feistier.
