 This is my Katrina at barely a year old, as of July, 2006. After Hurricane Katrina, I went to Lake Charles, Louisiana to help at the parish shelter. They had a bunch of dogs from New Orleans and were completely overloaded. I found this little girl in the puppy room at about 14 weeks old, completely adorable and not bugging anybody in the top right corner of the cages. Since then, I have helped in spaying her, driven with her for 25 hours back home, and spent a great ten months with her. She's a handful, but completely worth it.
