 This is Kiefer. We rescued him from the local animal shelter here in Columbus Ohio on Halloween. Apparently he was part of a massive number of dogs that were left when the Quarter Horse Congress was in town. He was ten weeks old when we brought him home, and he is thirteen weeks old in this picture. He was so sad in the shelter, and now, he is spoiled rotten. He spends his days herding 3 kids and 2 cats, and eating the occasional Nerf dart. He loves playing tug of war and already knows "fetch" and "sit." He is the sweetest dog ever!! This picture was taken in his very own bean bag bed. He had to have his own so he would leave the one in his human brothers' room alone! He loves his new bed, but he still prefers to sleep on the lap of one of us. He just recently found out how much fun it is to run through huge piles of leaves in the yard with his human brothers and sister. And he LOVES to play soccer and football already. His human grandma (the kid AND dog nanny) brushes him every day now and he hates it, but he knows it makes him the "soft puppy" that we all want to pet. Belly rubs and peanut butter Kong treats make him a happy dog. He knows his human Mommy and Daddy cant resist the upturned belly waiting to be rubbed! We are looking forward to many years of love from this guy! WE LOVE KIEFER!! ----The Fraley Family
