This is Sky, my 10 year old female ACD. Shes very smart, affectionate, loves people, and gets along with most animals. Though within the last few years, she seems seems to have gotten a little more aggressive towards other dogs. She has even taken up lifting her leg like one of the guys. Shes overweight, but shes getting back in shape, though she hates her diet. The thinner she gets, the more energetic and bouncy she gets. She looks a little heavier then she is because of some fatty tumors she has on each side. The vet says their fine for now, but they may have to be removed later. She loves to eat, and will go through all the tricks she knows to get you to give her a treat. She loves to go for walks, but prefers to go to the lake, run loose and explore the place. She lived most of her life out in the country running loose on our property, ;but we had to move to town not long ago. She was raised around cats, cattle, and a horse. She shows interest in chasing after cows, but she seems to think that I should help out. Shes well behaved most of the time, and listens pretty well. But sometimes if she sees another dog, or has found an interesting smell, it's like she doesn't even hear me. She's a dog who really loves to cuddle. Her thing is to put her head or body between your legs so that shes close and you have to pay attention to her. If your sitting down, she might bury her face in your lap or put her head under your arm. How can you ignore that?
