Meet Xena (right) and Tucker (left). Pure-bred ACD's from Richardson Texas. Xena is beautiful and intelligent (almost too smart for her own good). Xena loves fetching balls and is really good finding her tennis balls by smell when we throw them into the bush. At 3 yrs old she still likes to herd her mom, the swiffer mop and the vacuum cleaner (which bears the scars of her nip all along the front). Xena's favorite thing to do is lay under daddys desk while he works. Xena has a high pitched yelp that can make your ears ring for hours and uses it to show excitement when her dinner is being prepared! She also LOVES babies and children and is very gentle and kind. Tucker is silly and sweet - not as smart as Xena but makes up for it in affection. Tucker loves destroying toys, chewing the corners off wooden furniture (never the legs, just the corners-oops!) and making funny yodelling noises. He also loves giving lots of hugs and kisses. Tucker is lightening fast and incredibly agile - he can jump like a kangaroo and is way too fast for Xena to catch most of the time, but he lets her anyway because he loves her so much. Xena likes to play with Tucker, but likes to discipline him often to make sure he knows who is the Queen of the Castle. Tucker doesnt care - he just loves being around Xena and his mom and dad. Both Xena and Tuck are from Gravans ACD's in South-Central Texas. We love them unconditionally and couldnt imagine our life without these wonderful companions. Lots of wags from the Ellis's.
