MEET CASS:

Cass is about a year old and is a spayed female blue ACD mix. She is healthy and is UTD on vaccinations, is parasite-free, is HW negative and is on flea/tick preventative. Yes, she really is missing her front right leg! She was picked up as a stray in rural Alabama and her leg had been broken beyond repair. The decision to amputate was made, and she came through with flying colors. She hasn't skipped a beat -- she is very loving and affectionate and is a very quick learner. She is crate trained and is currently working on house training and is doing very well. Otherwise, she loves riding in the car and getting baths, and she adores stuffed toys and nylabones! She gets along with other dogs but has not been exposed to cats or children. She came to us with some food aggression issues but they have lessened over time, as I'm sure she has figured out that she is not going to have to go without food at our house! She will have to be adopted to someone within driving distance of Jackson, MS, as a pre-adoption interview and a home check will be done prior to placement.
