A note to ALL people listing dogs....PLEASE be courteous and let me know when the dog(s) you have listed are adopted!! Email me at rescue@cattledog.com to let me know when a dog needs to be removed from the rescue pages. Be sure to include the dogs name AND location so I don't delete the wrong dog (duplicate names are frequent on these pages!).

Available dog writeups should be formatted as follows:

Dogs name and pertinent information (sex, color, age, health status, quirks, etc.) At the END of the dogs description include your FULL name, email address and phone number. Please note that this is REQUIRED for listing here at cattledog.com.

A photo of the dog is encouraged and will definitely increase interest in the adoptable dog. Please send photos as ATTACHMENTS (not embedded or inline). Make every attempt to crop the photo to the dog only and keep the file size manageable (72dpi, 500x500 pixels does quite nicely). Please note that we don't list adoption fees here on these pages, that is information that you can discuss with inquiring parties on an individual basis.

Make sure you describe the dog accurately and responsibly. If you are placing the dog because of a behavior issue, be sure to be honest about that problem.
